I traveled with my sister and my niece on Trafalgar’s 8-day escorted tour, Hawaiian Explorer, which had overnights on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. For this tour, you can choose from three different hotel categories: Moderate, First-Class and Premier. I highly suggest you upgrade to Premier if you can; the resorts Trafalgar uses are really lovely and you’ll appreciate the extra amenities and their great locations.

We had plenty of free time to spend however we wanted, and there were many optional excursions to choose from. The food was great; we loved having fresh fruit all the time. And Trafalgar’s Tour Director was excellent. Highlights of the trip were our included tour of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and a festive luau on Maui.

I can’t wait to go back to Hawaii! Hopefully for a longer stay next time.
