I had a huge group traveling with me on our cruise in the Southern Caribbean last summer: my husband and 11 friends! Cruising with a group is great, since there was something for everyone. We could do our own thing on board the Carnival Destiny if we wanted to, or get all together for dinner or a shore excursion.

This was a fast-paced itinerary – we were on a different island every day. I loved Magens Bay Beach in St. Thomas, snorkeling with turtles in Barbados, taking a zip-line tour in Antigua and shopping in St. Kitts.

The food was outstanding, the staff treated us so well, and the shows were very entertaining. Just be sure to get plenty of rest before your trip, since it’s go, go, go on the ship, and take Monday off from work after you return home!
